Charles Bernard Barton:
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Charlie graduated from the University of Texas Austin, and Bilgi University in Istanbul. Currently a PhD student in history, with a focus on American policy in Anatolia after the First World War. He speaks Turkish and has an interest in Ottoman history and late medieval history in general. In his creative writing, he draws inspiration from the classics, as well as historical events. In the realm of popular culture, Charlie greatly appreciates the critiques of The Critical Drinker and Nerdrotic. Watching his written stories become an illustrated reality has been a great joy, and he greatly looks forward to seeing the East Meets Norse story grow over the coming years.
Dejan Mandic:
He was born in 1977 in Sarajevo. Graduated in applied graphics in 2002 at the university of applied arts in Belgrade, with professors Jugoslav Vlahović and Milka Vujović. He has been a member of ULUPUDS since 2011. – painting and graphic section. He exhibited at numerous individual and collective exhibitions. This extremely creative and unique author has been successfully engaged in illustration, comics, character design, as well as book design.
